Disappointing to say the least in the synergy between the telephone service and store. Booked a reservation on the phone having asked multiple times to confirm what I was reserving, got to store to be told the cellular iPad 2018 model wasn't in fact in stock and despite being Sunday afternoon none could be stocked until Friday, this is despite being able to get one in person at an Apple store. Something not right with the supply channels if such a new product cannot be ordered to store for so long. To be fair though the staff in store were very polite despite very little effort to provide a satisfactory result.
If ordering large items which you need to have delivered and you have given company specific date and time slot you will be available to receive it, check the paperwork you're given BEFORE leaving the store! We had given date and time slot we wanted, yet the paperwork specified "undated delivery and that we would be contacted to arrange delivery! We had to go back to PC World this morning with our query! It took quite while for them to sort out!

It is a great place to shop but items are a little on the expensive side. Completely worth it though
WH Smiths, good shop for books and stationary. Though I did find the perfect book in this one in March, took it to the counter and the staff member said it wasn't on the system... That was all she had to say? I did quiz her (I had to) and asked why? She didn't know... So I asked if she could check as it was on the shelf in the correct place. She said it could have been a book someone dropped and maybe someone else picked it up and put it back (in the correct place...lol). I googled it and WH Smith do indeed sell the book online. This didn't help me at all as the staff member simply said she couldn't do anything? I understand it’s a big company and they have to stick to certain rules etc. But I’m not entirely sure she was practicing any type of customer services that I’m familiar with. Surely ask a manager or try and sell the book to me there and then? It would have made me happy, plus the shop wouldn’t have to waste money sending the book back to the main warehouse and then process all that… Better for the environment too (if you wanted to go that far), least of all my Dad would have got a book he liked for his birthday. I ended up going to Waterstone where they were super helpful. They always are in there, they are very warm and welcoming and always help me find what I want (even when I don’t know what I want!). That was just my one experience with one member of staff who was maybe not having a good day. I’m sure others are kinder in the shop. Had I known this would happen, I would have just walked out with the book and pretended it was mine ha ha.
